About Sincere

Our Mission

Sincere empowers grassroots organizing by making voter outreach simple, efficient, and scalable. We build tools that help activists and volunteers focus on what matters most: connecting with voters and driving civic engagement.

About the Founder

Sincere was founded by Aaron Brethorst, who has been civically engaged and politically active throughout his adult life. His formative political memory was meeting Senator Paul Wellstone at the 1990 Minnesota State Fair and touring his green campaign bus—an experience that sparked a lifelong commitment to grassroots organizing and democratic participation.

That commitment drives Sincere's development today: building technology that amplifies the voices of volunteers and makes democracy more accessible.

How Sincere Started

In 2020, an activist friend reached out with a challenge. He had joined a postcards-to-voters group sending handwritten postcards to low-propensity voters in swing states. The process was cumbersome—volunteer organizers were drowning in Excel spreadsheets of voter addresses, manually creating PDFs to distribute to their volunteer writers.

What they needed was a SaaS platform that could transform those voter lists into ready-to-use PDFs with minimal oversight, making it faster and easier for organizers to manage volunteer requests and for volunteers to do their critical work of writing postcards to voters.

The project was a smash success. The national organization became a customer the following year, and Sincere has been growing exponentially ever since.

Our Impact

Today, Sincere serves organizations across the country, helping them scale their voter outreach efforts without scaling their administrative burden. Every feature we build is designed to remove friction from the organizing process, so volunteers can spend more time making connections and less time managing logistics.
